I believe that access to healthcare is a social responsibility as well as national security priority. A healthy population is a strong population. Early access to prevention is an incredibly important driver for cost reductions — whether that be robust vaccine initiatives, low-cost or free testing, or drug pricing or insurance regulations which can drive costs down.
Economy
I will fight for continued Federal Reserve independence and push for enforcement of all legal mechanisms of recourse to stop the executive branch from its corrupt abuse of power we see happening in broad daylight. Congress must reclaim its control over trade policy and the purse strings, and that will only happen by holding this administration accountable for its rampant and willful trampling of our trading policies.
Immigration & Policing
Nearly every American has a heritage of immigrating to our great country. Immigrants work tirelessly to create bonds in our communities and provide for Americans that they call friends and neighbors.
I will fight fervently against ANY attacks that violate your constitutional rights or jeopardize the safety and well-being of Americans to enjoy their life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.
Education & Childcare
The Missouri Chamber of Commerce shows that over $1.35 Billion dollars of economic opportunity is lost every year due to lack of proper childcare access. I believe every child deserves access to robust, evidence-based pre-K through 12 education with facilities that can develop our children's minds and bodies while providing nutrition that may be missing at home.
Voting Rights
Expanded hours voting, mail-in ballots, and increased polling locations are vital to allowing hard-working families or those who have difficulty waiting in long lines or traveling far distances the ability to participate in their right to vote. I strongly oppose the SAVE Act which is designed to disenfranchise millions of LEGAL Americans from their constitutional right to vote.
Diversity
Through a focus on initiatives designed to protect access to union membership, protections for LGBTQ+ workplace and school discrimination, and rural workforce development projects — we can make sure that every corner of Missouri has an equitable chance at success.
Infrastructure
In an increasingly digital economy, we must push for broadband internet expansion to all parts of the state. At the same time, we must not allow giant corporations to decimate our power grids and vital water supplies by building data centers without significant investments of their own.
Smart infrastructure development is a key to being both an economic driver as well as a healthy and happy Missouri.
Gun Rights
I will champion NFA reforms that modernize outdated regulations and replace confusing language with clear, sensible standards. My platform balances the protection of our fundamental right to bear arms with a renewed emphasis on personal accountability. We must courageously address the cycle of violence impacting our communities while ensuring law-abiding citizens can exercise their rights without unnecessary hurdles.
Environment
Clean air and water are vital to every human being in order to function. They are vital to our farms for production of the crops that sustain us and enable our agricultural economic output. With an increase in disastrous storms, now more than ever we need a strong environmental policy for addressing flood control and soil conservation, as well as ensuring the health of our communities.
