We’re not imagining it.
Left, right, or center we feel it.
It’s there every day.

A low, constant hum in the back of our minds.
It keeps us up at night.

 

It kept me up at night.

 

That’s why I decided to run for office.

 

We are witnessing the rise of authoritarian policing.
We see politicians ignoring the law or, worse, excusing the inexcusable.
We see pardons handed out for power and loyalty.
We see revenge politics aimed at anyone who dares to disagree.
We see a legislature and judiciary that too often enable it.

 

We see our country’s core values betrayed to please one man.

 

We see it at the grocery store.
We see it in the headlines.
We feel it in our homes.

 

Our farmers have been betrayed.
Our unions have been betrayed.
Our economic policy changes with a tweet.

 

When we don’t see it, we feel it.
The strain in our families.
The division in our communities.
The erosion of our standing in the world.

 

Missouri deserves better. America deserves better.
We cannot continue down this path.

 

We must fight for democracy.
We must fight for one another.

 

For our farmers.
For our teachers.
For our environment.
For the rule of law.
For our families, our friends, and our neighbors.

 

I am asking for your vote to represent Missouri in the United States House of Representatives because I will do what Bob Onder refuses to do:

I will speak out.
I will defend the America we love, not one bent toward authoritarianism.

 

Help me defend your ballot by rejecting efforts to dismantle the Citizen Initiative Process.

 

Help me protect rural hospitals and expand access to Medicaid and Affordable Care Act coverage.

 

Help me bring broadband to every corner of rural Missouri so families can access telehealth and modern opportunity.

 

Help me strengthen Missouri’s energy independence by building a resilient grid and investing in energy made right here in Missouri.
