About Dr. Wilson
Paul Wilson grew up in Mobile, Alabama and currently lives in St. Charles, Missouri. He has always had a strong desire to help others and a passion for serving his community.
Beginning in the 9th grade Dr. Wilson volunteered with the Red Cross during the summer to put together lunches for the underserved and elderly who needed help. Following several disasters, including Hurricane Katrina, he worked in aid distribution centers to get food to those who lost everything. During high school Dr. Wilson took the most rigorous courses available and graduated with an International Baccalaureate diploma while working a full-time job to save money for college.
As a first-generation college student and proud product of the public school system, Dr. Wilson was fortunate to qualify for academic and merit scholarships that enabled him to attend Auburn University. During the summers he waited tables to pay for the parts of school his scholarships didn’t quite cover. After graduating with a magna cum laude degree in Biomedical Sciences he went on to obtain his doctorate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. After completing a general practice and anesthesia residency in New York City, Dr. Wilson spent the next nearly 6 years bringing mobile anesthesia services to rural Americans who often had no readily available hospital or clinic access for their dental healthcare needs. Paul and his wife moved to Missouri in 2024 and quickly fell in love with the state and its people.
Today, Dr. Wilson continues to provide healthcare services for children and special needs patients in the greater Saint Charles area. His patients frequently have to travel multiple hours due to a lack of nearby care, which he recognizes as a common struggle for patients living in rural communities across Missouri and the nation.
Paul is incredibly passionate about improving access to healthcare, ensuring equity for all Americans, responsible gun ownership, and fighting for our delicate democratic institutions. The need to fight for our country during an especially contentious moment in the American story was a driving factor in his decision to run for office. His goal is to make Missouri’s third district a key player on nationally relevant and important issues that strengthen the middle class worker and help Missouri families. He believes in hard work. He understands that it takes determination and perseverance to make meaningful change and improvement in our daily lives.
He believes deeply in strong workers rights, crafting a sustainable and forward-looking infrastructure plan that benefits Missourians, improving education and training opportunities, and crafting a tomorrow that secures voting rights and democracy for all Americans.
